THE LAST TIME DELHI GOVT. & THE MCD HAD SET THE LAST DATE FOR AMNESTY SCHEME AS JUNE 30, 2009. But, the response they got was low in terms of disclosures and people opting for the scheme perhaps because of lesser advertisements and announcements which could have informed more and more Delhi citizens about the scheme.
The scheme was promptly extended up to end of October 2009 first, and then further extended up to 31 December 2009.
We strongly suggest you to pay a visit to your zonal MCD office ASAP and ask if they can accept your application. Online status checking shall perhaps not help much as the system servers would be unreliable to respond more than a face to face interaction with the concerned MCD officers.
We wish you luck in your case. Please do update us about the outcome of your visit to the MCD office as it will definitely be a guide to so many other Delhiites like you too who missed the bus this very time in availing the MCD Property Tax Amnesty scheme 2009-10.
Regards
Team BnM
The date for the AMNESTY SCHEME has been extended till 31 MARCH 2010.
ReplyDeleteThere have been some changes and more relaxations offered to the defaulters who choose to pay their outstanding.
Hurry, and avail the window of opportunity. Why regret later if you happen to be caught in the net sometime in future? Pay tax and relax!
