Hello everyone!
Notwithstanding the fact how much delayed we are in formally extending our heartfelt greetings to the bricks-n-mortar community as well as the coveted subscribers, readers & visitors of this blog this new year; hereby wishing all a very happy, prosperous, successful, contented & blissful new year 2011.
To share with our community, team bricks-n-mortar(dot)com was not working in full command at this blog as it was working overtime countering a hostile bid that the blog faced from a 'third party' that ambiguously showed interest towards a controlling stake takeover. Had this particular 'third party' shown good intent in partnering with us for developing and bettering this blog, we would have no problems at all. But the intent being not good, we had to run all our engines in full throttle and vigor to be out of the hostile clutches. And the final outcome as on date is positive :-) The bricks-n-mortar community is free of all obligations whatsoever to work and develop the blog on its own terms & conditions.
The year gone by (2010) saw the blog sailing smoothly witnessing remarkably increased interest as well as viewership from across the globe. However, readers + subscribers from India and USA still remain in the forefront occupying the top two positions in terms of readers' statistics. The Google Analytics data for the blog showed constant growth graph line in all spheres of readers' statistics... be it pageviews, visitors or patronage. All healthy signs for the organic growth of the blog and its community. And all this despite the fact that we DO NOT waste our precious time or a hard earned penny on marketing, advertising or social media viral marketing techniques, et. al. :-)
This new year (2011), we would be striving even more harder to constantly grow our readership & subscribers stats besides providing helpful, able, non-junk, non-repetitive information on Civil Engineering, Architecture, and allied topics. Yes we know there are certain queries from some of our subscribers that remain unanswered (eg., from Shabeer S., Mary D., Rohit P. to name a few). We would look forward to answer these queries and assist our community members.
Last but not the least, let us re-assert the fact that this very blog gets its fuel and energy from your continued patronage and contributions. We endeavor to have your continued love and participation. Though the revenues earned from this blog, as of now, are just about sufficient to just pay for the annual expenses in running the blog, domain ownership fee & renewals, and other related expenses; we would be glad to contribute back to the needy in the society whenever we can.
LETS WISH AND HOPE AND HELP EACH OTHER FOR A HAPPY NEW YEAR not mere in saying, but in reality and deeds.
