Manish Malhotra doesn't need much introduction in Indian fashion haute couture scene and the Indian film industry popularly dubbed as 'Bollywood'. He is a celebrated fashion designer and a socialite who is known for his chik and colourful fashion creations and fashion statements. His designed outfits have adorned a number of leading actresses in Bollywood right from the year 1993 till very recently in 2013.
The outfits that Malhotra design define the colourful fashion statements in true Indian spirit. The beautiful and mesmerizing riot of colours that Malhotra's creations put forward to the person who's wearing it and also to the eyes of the beholder is exemplary.

But, the riot of colours that his recently done French apartment exhibits is something which is being talked about in social circles and fashion/ architecture sections of tabloids is perhaps too loud for a man residing there in the humble opinion of
Bricksnmortar Edesk. Had this been done by a lady fashion designer to her abode, things would perhaps be bit more digestible; but Manish is not the fairer gender, and the choice of colours (especially the pinks) does not gel well!
Have a look for yourself at the sourced pictures (the collage has been sourced from the cited source weblink of NYT); and surf through the NYT article too. And do opine if what we feel is correct, or if the colour riot and choice of colours at Malhotra's Paris home sensical.
